Unfortunately, it does have a few drawbacks. The lack of liquid support & less than semantic markup being the two major ones. There are fixes in the works for these. Christian Montoya's Semantify & Future releases of BLT will hopefully address the semantic issue. The next release of blueprint should have preliminary support for liquid layouts.
